As a Counsel – Legal & Compliance (Senior Manager) with B. Braun, you will serve as a trusted legal partner to business leaders across the region, providing strategic legal and compliance guidance that supports commercial objectives and business growth. Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will play a key role in shaping legal frameworks, strengthening governance processes, and enabling sound decision-making across both established and emerging markets.

 

This role requires a commercially minded legal professional with experience operating in a multicultural, multi-country environment, capable of influencing stakeholders, driving cross-functional collaboration, and supporting regional business expansion through practical and strategic legal solutions.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and support on commercial agreements and contractual matters involving external parties.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and support the execution of commercial transactions, including loans, leases, purchase agreements, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and support corporate transactions to identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • Manage litigation matters by coordinating with external counsel, preparing legal documentation, and liaising with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with business leaders across multiple markets to provide strategic legal guidance, influence decision-making, and support regional business growth initiatives.
  • Drive legal and compliance processes, governance frameworks, and best practices that strengthen operational effectiveness across the region.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements across business operations.
  • Maintain company secretarial records, legal databases, and case management systems while supporting ad hoc legal and compliance initiatives as required.

 

What you will bring to the team:
  • Bachelor's Degree or with extensive working experience.
  • Qualified lawyer with 6–8 years of corporate legal experience.
  • Experience providing strategic legal advice, managing legal risk, and influencing stakeholders across functions.
  • Strong English communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is preferred.
  • Regional or international exposure supporting multi-country, multicultural environments is advantageous.
  • Additional language proficiency would be plus.
