As a Asst Manager - Tax at B. Braun you will play a vital role in….

 

Your key responsibilities:               

  • Key position responsible for the functions of withholding tax. Responsible for matters related to indirect tax, e.g Good and Services Tax (GST), Sales and Service Tax and Value Added Tax (VAT)., including filing of monthly indirect tax return. 
  • Preparation of Inter Company agreements between B. Braun entities. Preparation of Transfer Pricing Documentation. Preparation of tax information for annual tax filing including preparation of annual reports to statutory bodies. Preparation of tax computation for estimated prepaid tax payments and deferred tax. 
  • Perform regular reconciliation checks of tax ledgers to accounting. 
  • Support and provide advisory to other departments on matters related to taxation. 
  • Attend to any queries/tax audit from Inland Revenue, Custom Department and auditors. 
  • Other responsibilities may include assisting in tax management activities as well as undertaking special assignments or projects. The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time 

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • Require a team member with deep understanding of Malaysia tax regulations (direct and indirect) and compliance requirements, strong analytical skills and independent.
  • Bachelor Degree preferably in Finance/ Accounting/Business. Min 8-10 years of relevant experience in taxation field.
  • Excellent knowledge of Malaysia Tax compliance and all types of tax returns. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management skills. Good knowledge of SAP and MS. Office.
  • Managing desk and field tax audits dealing directly with tax authorities. Good proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu.
