As a Assistant Staff Engineer/ Staff Engineer-Assembly Automation  at B. Braun you will play a vital role in…

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for determining core aspects and success criteria for automation solutions in product manufacturing and assembly process.
  • Drive projects in the area of production process automation for assembly solutions in co-operation with internal and external stake holder.
  • Work closely with the global Center of Competence (CoC) and the related sub-CoC group.
  • Assist in developing suitable strategies to execute governance over the core process within the area of regional responsibility defined for the BMI B Braun Technology Center- Asia Pacific (BTC-AP) in accordance with Operating Model Medical (OMM). 
  • Collaborate with production and Research and Development (R&D) to promote the simultaneous engineering process for combined product and process development with the aim of generating manufacturable new products in accordance with the Center of Excellence (CoE) and division's needs.
  • Assist in conducting early evaluations of manufacturing technology suppliers in Asia Pacific (APAC) region which would enhance B. Braun manufacturing capabilities, especially in the area of innovative automation technologies built around the medical product manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • For more senior position level, shall provide training concepts and execution recommendations for technically skilled workers, to be implemented by a technical training center.

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • At least 5 years of experience in medical device engineering projects and process development and innovation.
  • Will be an advantage to have leadership experiences and be able to guide team members.
  • Good communication skills and able collaborate with functional leaders and teams.
  • Responsible to develop User's Requirement specification (URS) and Functional Specification (FS)
  • Experience implementing process improvements, automation technologies, knowledge in Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing.
  • Project management experience in working and supporting timely delivery of projects within agreed budgets.
  • Ability to plan and organize and to analyze complex data.
  • Experience in managing multiple concurrent research efforts to collect, analyze and present findings to inform decision making.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment is required.
  • Experiences success in creating, developing, and launching innovation in the market.
  • A proven passion for science and engineering as a business with interest and understanding of the business side of innovation.
  • Strong discovery skills, particularly questioning, observing, and experimenting.
  • Naturally curious and genuinely motivated in learning new things and understanding relationships between teams, people, customers, products, processes, and culture. Able to gather and synthesize information from a variety of people, and then assess how to make improvements in communication or process.
  • Ability to clearly assess, articulate, and manage risk with a sense of urgency to meet project/program deliverables, on schedule, and on budget. Must also have the ability to see the big picture, be comfortable escalating issues and concerns to management, prepare contingency plans, and ensure execution of plans through effective organizational awareness.
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and ability to think and act holistically.
  • Exudes confidence and humility. Possesses noticeable self-awareness. Capable of finding communication gaps and creating bridges that allow the group to work more effectively.
