As a Government Affairs Executive at B. Braun, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategies and tactics to ensure that the company’s strategy and requirements are adequately reflected in the country’s legislation and policy framework. This role prepares legislative pathways for future business development and counteracts threats to the product portfolio and business models.
Your key responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze political and regulatory developments relevant to B. Braun at national/regional level; internal communication of these developments to management team and relevant functions.
- Coordinate and prepare high-level briefings for country leadership teams on political and regulatory developments.
- Draft and internally align local position papers on issues related to the healthcare industry, health and economic policy perspectives, and future trends of the medical technology and pharmaceutical industries.
- Actively participate in trade associations and other politically affiliated institutions; ideally assume leadership positions in committees/boards.
- Expand and maintain personal networks and represent the company in meetings, events, and industry associations.
- Develop, plan, and execute events, advocacy campaigns, and other stakeholder engagement initiatives on health and economic policy topics.
- Cooperate closely and align with local B. Braun Sales and Marketing functions, Communications, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Comply with Global Government Affairs goals & objectives and liaise regularly with Global Government Affairs to align strategies and messages, exchange best practices and avoid redundancies
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Political Science, Economics or related area with focus on Public Policy, Government Affairs etc.
- 3-5 years work experience in pharma and/or medical device industry, health policy or related functions
- Deep understanding of the country’s healthcare structure and political environment
- Established network among stakeholders and political decision-makers
- Good communication in Thai and English
