Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee Plant performance & develop Annual Operating Plan/Forecasts.
  • Explain periodic financial performance vs comparatives such as Budget/Forecast and Prior Year.
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage Production Controlling including product costing, standard costing and price-volume mix analysis ensuring cost efficiency and performance tracking.
  • Responsible for Month end closing activities and Management reporting.
  • Preparation and Presentation of financial performance for Plant Review Meetings.
  • Fixed Assets Management including capitalization and physical verification.
  • Investment/Capex management including Appraisals, Feasibility analysis, ROI working and Tracking spends vs budget.
  • Analysis of sales and margin performance at product and customer level.
  • Conduct P&L Reviews and perform ratio analysis of KPIs.  
  • To monitor product cost development and strive towards the expected target cost set by the management.
  • Analyze variances and communicate explanations to management with recommended actions.
  • Product cost run and related activities in SAP.
  • Inventory valuation as per guidelines.
  • Master data creation and maintenance in SAP.
  • Cost center maintenance in SAP.
  • Submission of price data to regulatory authorities.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration to achieve specific requirements.
  • Business support and Supply chain controlling (Factory) incl. Purchasing, logistic, warehousing and inventory management.
  • Support during audits (Statutory/Internal/Tax) & coordination with auditors.
  • Pricing review and determination/coordination.
  • To undertake any ad-hoc assignments and projects when required.

Key Competencies:

  • Good communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical skills especially in Cost Accounting & Finance.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Prior exposure to Plant Controlling profile is preferred.
  • Experience in SAP FICO module is a must.

Education      : ICWA/MBA finance/Equivalent.

Experience     : 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
