As an Assistant Accounting Manager - GL Accounting & Employee Claims at B. Braun you will play a vital role in assisting with accounting tasks and support daily financial operations.
Your key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure financial records comply with GAAP and company policies.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Support internal and external audits with schedules and responses.
- Oversee and implement SOPs for employee claims processing.
- Collaborate on system enhancements and improvements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining internal controls.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification preferred.
- 8 - 10 years progressive experience in Finance with 3 to 5 years in GL accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations, with experience in tax compliance and reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
